WHO ARE WE?
Dr. Daniel L. Mason, Optometrist
Dr. Mason is certified in ocular therapeutic pharmaceutical agents and practices Primary Eyecare. He has earned an excellent reputation in the community for both his professional and volunteer work. He is a graduate of UC Irvine in Biological Scienes and So. California College of Optomery in Visual Optics. He earned his Doctorate of Optometry from the So. Calif. College of Optometry in 1984 and immediately went into private practice in Chula Vista, CA. Dr. Mason has been married to his wife Tammy for over 25 years and has two beautiful daughters Michelle and Hannah.
He is a Past President of the Chula Vista Chamber of Commerce, the Chula Vista Dowtnown Association and the Chula Vista Rotary Club. He is a member of the American Optometric Association, the California Optometric Association and is a Past President of the San Diego County Optometric Society and his presidential year the Society won the honor of Society of the Year for Calforina. Dr. Mason helps co-manage patients interested in Laser Refractive Surgery as well as cataract surgery. He fits contact lenses of all types and works well with both adults and children. You will find Dr. Mason is careful to explain your specific eye conditions and takes pride that his patients trust him with their eyes.

Ruby, Maggie and Patti have been with our family practice for a combined total of over 36 years. You will find them extremely knowledgable, friendly and desring to help you with your questions, concerns, frame styles, appointments, insurance questions and the list goes on and on. You can also be assured your best interests are at heart with the knowledge that no staff member receives commissions. Our philosophy is that we want our staff to be free to recommend only what they feel is in our patient's best interest, which in the long run is in the office's best interest. We hope to offer "old fashioned service with new fashion glasses".
